Who is your culinary inspiration?Carlos gaytan is someone i look up to, not only because he is the first Mexican chef who got a Michelin star but because he never tried to, he's goal was always to be better and show the community he's love for the Mexican cuisine, and the culture. I feel like we have a lot in common and it is very inspiring to have someone like him to look up to, came as an immigrant to this country and has worked so hard to get where he is, always putting his culture and roots out there.
What would you do with the $25,000?One of my dreams is to open my Food Truck, i started doing catering with my LCC, “CEMPAXOCHITL” Mexican Kitchen, it is inspired in day of the death l, a very important day in our culture and would love to keep working on that dream, this would be a great opportunity for me to get a food truck started and to show the community my roots, culture and my love for food as well as my skills and for everyone to see that everything is possible when you do it with love and passion.
