I showcase Bangladeshi cuisine through a global, technique-driven lens, transforming the flavours and traditions I grew up with into refined, contemporary experiences while staying deeply rooted in my heritage. *But if you really ask me, it is definitely a curry dish from South and South East Asia and the Caribbeans.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My mother, my father, and my paternal grandmother. <3
What would you do with the $25,000?If I won the $25,000, I would publish a culinary lifestyle coffee table book exploring modern techniques through traditional Bangladeshi recipes and global ingredient influences. The funding would also help launch Yum Moments in Dhaka Bangladesh, a culinary concept space focused on cultural storytelling, immersive dining, and bringing chefs, creatives, gourmands, and culinary tourism to one of the world’s most underrepresented food cultures.
