Receive Text UpdatesI love creating Caribbean-inspired dishes because they reflect my culture, passion, and love for bold flavor. What truly drives me as a chef, though, is blending flavors and techniques from around the world to create something unique and unforgettable. I enjoy mixing Caribbean, Southern, Latin, and modern American influences into elevated comfort food that feels both exciting and familiar. For me, cooking is about creativity, connection, and bringing people together through flavor.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My biggest culinary inspiration is my mom who taught me that food is more than a meal it’s love, culture, and connection. Growing up, I watched food bring people together during both hard times and celebrations. I’m also inspired by chefs who stay true to their roots while creating elevated experiences, and that’s exactly the type of chef I strive to be every day.
What would you do with the $25,000?Winning $25,000 would allow me to invest into growing my culinary brand and bringing my long-term vision to life. I would use it to expand my business, build stronger marketing, and create more opportunities to serve my community through food. As a hardworking Army chef and entrepreneur, this opportunity would help turn years of passion, sacrifice, and dedication into something even bigger for my future and my family.
