What is your signature dish?

My French Toast! It's made with Challah bread that I bake by scratch daily, custard with cinnamon and a pinch of nutmeg. Grilled and caramelized with sugar on one side. Served with orange honey butter, brown butter peaches and fresh raspberries.

Who is your culinary inspiration?

My customers are now my biggest inspiration. This has become so much bigger than me just entering a contest, It's become a rallying cry for our small town. Hearing them telling me how much they love the food and that they voted for me has really lit the fire under my bottom! I love coming up with new items just to 'wow' them!

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest it back into my restaurant! We want to install an outdoor seating area for our customers to relax and enjoy the town and our food. We would also like to fix and/or purchase new equipment so that we can keep our quality consistent!
