Receive Text UpdatesHoney Glazed Chicken with Apples and Sauteed Onions. It's seasoned chicken, seared in a pan over a medium high heat until a crust forms. I then saute onions and garlic in butter and olive oil mixture until tender. The onions are then placed in a baking pan and topped with the chicken. I then core and slice Granny Smith Apples and place them amongst the chicken. It's wrapped with foil and placed in a 350 degree oven for forty five minutes or until chicken reaches a temperature of 165 degrees.
Who is your culinary inspiration?When I started my cooking journey at a young age, two ladies caught my attention: Ina Garten and Nigella Lawson. A bit unorthodox I know, but my parents divorced when I was around 10 and these idols of mine, taught me how to cook and provide for my siblings while my parents weren't home. While Nigella taught time saving and easy entertaining with food, Ina taught me the extravagance of entertaining parties and elegance. Their teachings are something I incorporate still to this day in my career.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would love to open a food truck with my sisters. They are both incredibly talented in culinary arts, and it would be amazing for us to work together, travel, and share our favorite dishes with others. Each of us has a unique and diverse cooking style, which would allow us to create a menu full of original and flavorful dishes that reflect our individual talents
