My signature dish is roasted lamb shanks, inspired by the kitchens of my mother and grandmother, who taught me flavor, tradition, and cooking with love. Though I didn’t grow up eating lamb, I became an adventurous cook, influenced by my Cameroonian husband’s love of bold flavors. Slow-roasted and deeply flavorful, my lamb shanks represent family, cultural connection, creativity, and the joy of expanding beyond tradition.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My grandmother was my first culinary inspiration. Even as a young child, I noticed the love and care she put into every meal, from scratch-made dinners to homemade biscuits every morning. She taught me that cooking is more than food—it’s passion, tradition, and legacy. My mother also inspired me, but my grandmother sparked my love for cooking at an early age.
What would you do with the $25,000?This opportunity would allow me to invest in my cooking show, strengthen my brand, and continue spreading the message that food, love, and family go hand in hand. I want to create a lasting legacy that inspires connection, culture, and togetherness through cooking.
