Receive Text UpdatesMy signature dish is curry chicken, a recipe rooted in love, culture, and family tradition. Growing up around Caribbean cooking, I learned that curry is more than seasoning—it tells a story. My curry chicken is rich, comforting, and layered with authentic Trinidadian flavors that remind people of home, family gatherings, and the hands that prepared meals before us. Every pot I make carries a piece of my heritage and my heart.
Who is your culinary inspiration? My greatest culinary inspiration is my mother, Jennifer. She taught me that food is an expression of love, service, and family. Her passion for cooking came from my grandmother, Muriel, whose recipes, traditions, and spirit became the foundation of everything I create today. Muriel’s legacy lives on through my business, Muriel’s Trinidadian-American Cuisine. Every dish I serve is my way of honoring the women who came before me and preserving our family story.
What would you do with the $25,000?Winning $25,000 would help me continue building the dream that started generations before me. I would invest in growing Muriel’s Trinidadian-American Cuisine, expanding my catering services, meal prep program, and creating more opportunities to share Caribbean culture through food. This isn’t just about building a business—it’s about carrying forward my family’s legacy, honoring my mother and grandmother, and inspiring others to chase their dreams.
