What is your signature dish?

Venison tenderloin with Cherry Sauce. A favorite of all my family. A sauce made with Door County Dried Tart Cherries and Cherry Balsamic Vinegar. I have also made it with beef tenderloin( For those who do not like venison)

Who is your culinary inspiration?

All the women in our family. I learned French cooking from my mom and her sister. I learned German Food from my great grandma. I learned how to cook by watching and helping. I’ve learned from my husband’s great aunts who cooked farm style. They preserved everything! My daughter even inspires me with her cooking-she cooks all different types of cuisines.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would go on a culinary trip..it is on my bucket list. I also would publish a cookbook on our family’s recipes. I have generations of recipes.
