Who is your culinary inspiration?Hugh Acheson had a huge impact on the way I think about food and hospitality. Working under chefs who valued technique, seasonality, and strong restaurant culture taught me that great food should feel both thoughtful and approachable. I’m also inspired by the diversity of cuisines and cultures that shape how people gather around food. The best meals tell a story, create connection, and leave people feeling cared for.
What would you do with the $25,000?I’d use the $25,000 to invest in building a long term culinary platform centered around food, hospitality, mentorship and education. That includes creating more meaningful food content, hosting collaborative dinners and pop ups, and continuing to mentor aspiring chefs while developing future culinary projects. Most importantly, it would help create more stability for my family while I continue building a career rooted in creativity, leadership, and genuine hospitality.
