If I had to choose from here I would say I make a mean meringue pie, my cookies are pretty good, baked bao always epic, green curry is one of my basic dishes but, still delicious. I make pretty good braised short ribs. and I can hard boil an egg like a beast (it's what my 3 year old's main source of protein).
Who is your culinary inspiration? My mom. There was a time growing up, where she was working, with a husband and 3 kids at home. At some point we all had very different dietary preferences, and she would still cook from scratch something for each of us to eat--would end up with at least 3 main courses on the table (fish, pasta, some type of meat plus a salad). Holiday feasts (Passover, Thanksgiving, Rosh Hashana, birthday dinners) are always amazing no matter how small the group. Family dinner on Saturdays she always cooks.
What would you do with the $25,000?Most likely, towards childcare and a vacation--Japan, the BVI, Switzerland, maybe Indonesia, Thailand (somewhere fun for the kids to see another part of the world experience another culture).
