Who is your culinary inspiration?My Mom and my Aunties. They are the epitome of what the soul of a Chef looks like. They never received any professional training, but people have traveled for decades just for a plate of whatever they were serving. They have truly fed the masses and their recipes kept close to the belt. I have spent many years, trying to re-create recipes based off of the memories embedded in my taste buds and soul.
What would you do with the $25,000?I have been diligently working to partner with nonprofits & liaisons with schools across the community to prepare meals for families who are in need. These meals would cover 3 to 4 days of food for families. It all comes down to funding. We currently have the opportunity to purchase a mobile Kitchen that we could park and prepare these meals out of 1 to 2 days a week. 100% of the funds would go towards that.
