Slovak Kiffles, my grandmother's recipe that I have tweaked over the years because she wrote recipes in shorthand and always left something out. I also love French and Italian rustic recipes the whole family can make together. Cooking as a family with kids in the kitchen is the focus of my cookbook proposal. There will be culinary instruction in the book plus history’s influence on cuisine similarities, the role culture, creativity, and geography plays and how food unites us all.
Who is your culinary inspiration?Julia Child, Martha Stewart, & all the French farm wives, Italian Nonnas and Greek Yiayias!
What would you do with the $25,000?I would love to host a party for my local community upon launch of my cookbook (I'm manifesting with this statement) to thank them for coming to my cooking classes for the last 12 years, and purchase all of the ingredients from my local farms. The rest of the money will be used for book PR, food photography and other book publishing expenses not covered by a publisher.
