Receive Text UpdatesMy current signature dish is a delicious, easy to make crab spinach artichoke dip. It's creamy, cheesy, garlicky and a little healthy with the spinach. And completely loaded with lump crab. I pair it with toasted crostini drizzled with olive oil .My sister hosts a pizza night every month, where we make homemade pizza from dough to toppings! This dip has quickly become a favorite and goes FAST. I absolutely have to make it every time.
Who is your culinary inspiration?This is hard to answer because so many people have inspired me along the way. I used to loveFood Network, enjoying Good Eats, Barefoot Contessa, Ace of Cakes, and more! But if I had to choose one, it would be my Grandma Fefe. I can still smell the food she cooked for us. She could make something out of nothing, which I always say I'm good at. The memory of her and her food is what makes cooking so special. Food has a way of staying in your heart 20 years later. Those are the best cooks.
What would you do with the $25,000?$25,000 would bless me so much. I have a bakery that specializes in all things cheesecake! Like your favorite cupcake shop, but mini cheesecakes and cheesecake stuffed cookies! I started it with my sister when we both had trouble finding work after graduating college. We've been open a year now, and have so much work to do. The prize would let me pour into marketing my business so more people can have a sweet reason to smile. And purchase new equipment because we're running out of space.
