Receive Text UpdatesDo I have a signature dish? I guess I'm more into making meals out of weird things or next to nothing. My favorite time to cook is when there's almost nothing in my fridge or pantry.
Who is your culinary inspiration?I'm inspired by doing more with less. I think this comes from growing up with little and making the most of it. And probably anthropologically from my maternal grandmother (RIP) who was and still is the best cook I know. She had to feed 16 children on one carpenter salary.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would travel the world and explore the foods I love here in the US in their natural habitat like pho in Vietnam and croissants in France. I'd also go to my birth home Trinidad & Tobago - Trini food is the best multicultural cuisine on the planet!
