My family would say either my almond puff or my pralines. My son would say my brownies. My church would say my Grinch cookies. I would say my next creation that pushes my boundaries both creatively and gastronomically. Inspires me to do more - go bigger, brighter better. Just got some freshly cut rhubarb, rushed to get some organic strawberries and made a huge strawberry rhubarb crisp. Next week for pride week making kite cookies. Go Bold

My sister Linda is my main inspiration period. She comes up with creative, outlandish ideas, makes the impossible, possible and does it with such grace and ease. Just love most of the chefs both past and present. Galloping Gourmet was so funny, Julia Child was fearless, Guy Fieri going to all those diners and dives in that red car eating unfamiliar yet familiar foods. But the food competitions are really good. So many ideas from so many different corners of the world, your mind just explodes.

Recently found out a friend of my son is buried in student loans and her car needs repairs, she is taking another semester off to work so she can try to pay some bills. All of this money would be donated to her to help pay off her student loads. She has battled health issues and really worked hard at college. I don't want her to quit due because her student loans where cut and she is short on money.
