Receive Text UpdatesI have more than one signature dish, but my family’s southern poundcake is special to me. I love cooking large meals, and watching the people I love most enjoy them together southern cooking comes from the heart and feeding friends and family brings me joy.
Who is your culinary inspiration?If anyone asked where my culinary inspiration comes from, I would answer without hesitation my two grandmothers. Their influence lives on in my southern cooking and in every holiday, large meal, small meal I prepare.
What would you do with the $25,000?What are you doing with $25,000, I can’t say I have every detail planned, but I know exactly where my heart would lead me. I would use it to cook, create, and share my food with others. I would pour every part of myself into making dishes and treats/Sweet n Savory alike/that bring people, happiness and comfort. For me cooking is not just about a skill, it is how I show love. Seeing people smile, gather together, and enjoy food made from the heart is the greatest reward I could ever ask for
