I’d say my hot honey fried chicken is one of my signature dishes. It’s regularly requested at holiday, and is a fan favorite. It’s the perfect balance of sweet heat with extra garlic in this house. I started out making it in an air fryer and have slowly perfected it each time, whether it’s air fried, or traditionally fried.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My grandmother is my cooking inspiration. She always hosted holiday dinners, and nothing gets the family together better than some good home cooked meals. Cooking is my passion, and I love the many ways it can bring people together.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would love to open up my own food truck or small cafe. I want a safe haven for anyone to come in and have a bite. I want to be able to donate back to my community through food.
