Who is your culinary inspiration?My greatest culinary inspiration is Chef Raul Barreiro, who taught me my signature dish. He pushed me to embrace creativity and never let me give up. He taught me that food is so much more than something you eat. It’s an art that creates connection between people. Sadly, after he passed, I realized just how powerful that connection truly is. He truly changed the way I view cooking forever, and now I carry his message with me in every dish I create.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the $25,000 to take what I’ve already built and turn it into something bigger than myself. I’ve spent years creating meaningful experiences through food, but this opportunity would allow me to expand my business, reach more people, and create a bigger impact. As I balance pre-med and a catering business, winning would prove that passion and purpose can both exist. It would help me spread the message that food is not just used to feed people, but to make them feel loved!
