Who is your culinary inspiration?My Dad! He immigrated to the US from Switzerland. He was the Chef for Harrahs Club in Stateline Nevada for 16 years. He opened his own business where I got my start when I was 12 years old. He built a commercial kitchen in our garage. We use to make crepes and I got paid a penny a piece. I use to make 2000 crepes in a day. That is a $20 pay check. Pretty good back in 1968. Currently I am a Chef for Hire in the Reno Tahoe area. I do a lot of charity work, Chef Table Dinners.
What would you do with the $25,000?Go to Switzerland where my Dad made his Apprenticeship. My main goal is to KEEP THE PASSION ALIVE. I’ve learned so much in my career that needs to be shared with the younger generation.
