Receive Text UpdatesMy signature dish is braised short rib in West African peanut soup with garlic ginger rice. Peanut soup was the first recipe my Ghanaian wife taught me, and now I love making it for her.
Who is your culinary inspiration?I took my first trip to Ghana 5 years ago and fell in love with the food and flavors. I then started following chefs like Kwame Onwuachi, Eric Adjepong, and Tristen Epps. They inspire me to learn more about the foods of the diaspora and reconnect with the flavors of my ancestors. However, my truest culinary inspirations are my wife Lady Magda and our Son Uriel. They deserve the best food possible, free from processed and unhealthy ingredients.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would invest in my my culinary pharmacist career and take my family on a nice vacation, cooking and eating our way across the great continent of Africa.
