What is your signature dish?

It’s so hard to file them down to just one, but I’ll have to say my grinder. It’s a combination of ground beef, Italian sausage and savory seasonings on a toasted French roll, topped with mozzarella cheese, melted under the broiler to perfection and served with banana peppers and jalapeños. It screams state fair delicious!

Who is your culinary inspiration?

There are many, including Guy Fieri, Martha Stewart and Ree Drummond, but nobody can compare to my grandmother, Lottie Larsen, whose hands always smelled like onions, and she cooked every dish with love.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest it in my food trailer business to share my love of food.
