What is your signature dish?

My signature dishes range from elevated Southern shrimp & grits to handcrafted Italian cuisine. I combine bold Southern flavor, refined technique, and heartfelt hospitality to create experiences that feel both luxurious and deeply personal.

Who is your culinary inspiration?

My inspiration comes from culture, family, and the people gathered around the table. A mentor once asked me what I would do for free, and my answer was cooking, because I realized food allows me to help people, bring them together, and become part of some of the most meaningful moments in their lives.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest into growing Plates & Thyme into a true hospitality group centered around unforgettable food and world class service. My goal is not only to serve incredible meals, but to make every guest feel like we’ve been waiting all day to welcome and serve them through hospitality first luxury dining rooted in culture, warmth, and memory making.
