Receive Text UpdatesMy signature dishes are elevated steakhouse creations that balance comfort and creativity. One of my favorites is a dish I call the Yard Bird it is a half of a chicken that has been sous vide in Aji pepper and spices. It is paired with a poblano cream sauce, and, smoked paprika oil, it brings-bold flavor and beautiful presentation together. I love taking familiar Southern and steakhouse flavors and elevating them into something memorable while still feeling approachable and comforting to guests.
Who is your culinary inspiration?Someone like Thomas Keller is my inspiration. But also chefs who create experiences, not just food. I admire chefs who blend technique, storytelling, and hospitality into every dish. Growing up around Southern comfort food also shaped my style heavily. I’m inspired by the idea that food can bring people together, create memories, and make guests feel something special. That’s what drives me every day in the kitchen.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would invest the $25,000 into growing my culinary vision and continuing to elevate the dining experience for my community. I’d use it to improve kitchen equipment, develop unique events and tasting experiences, support my team, and create more opportunities to showcase Fort Smith’s food scene. Most importantly, it would help me continue building a restaurant experience people genuinely remember and connect with.
