For me, it’s more than a meal; it’s comfort, culture, and the joy of bringing people together around the table.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My culinary inspiration comes from my mother and grandmother, who introduced me to the rich traditions of Trinidadian cuisine. Their recipes, techniques, and love for cooking shaped my passion for food and left a lasting influence that continues to inspire every dish I create.
What would you do with the $25,000?The $25,000 prize would help me provide long-term care and support for my 95-year-old grandmother, who still lives in Trinidad. Being able to give back to someone who has given so much to my family would mean everything to me.
