As simple as it sounds, homemade meatballs are probably my signature dish. Rich sauce simmered for hours, perfectly seasoned meat, fresh herbs, real technique and the kind of comfort food that instantly brings people to the table. It’s simple food done the right way. Bold flavor, heart and a little bit of soul in every bite.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My grandmother was my first inspiration. She taught me food was about comfort, care and bringing people together. Over 30 years in professional kitchens helped shape the craft, but that foundation never changed. I’m inspired by honest cooking, meaningful meals and the moments around the table that people remember long after the plates are cleared.
What would you do with the $25,000?I’d use the $25,000 to keep building the life and work I’ve spent years creating. I’d invest in growing Chef Joe’s Kitchen, expanding my private chef experiences, upgrading equipment, and continuing my cookbook and Food’s Magic projects focused on the healing and connecting power of food. And honestly, I’d finally take my wife and five kids on a real vacation too. They’ve supported every late night, every crazy idea, and every step of this journey.
