Who is your culinary inspiration?My Grandfather. My inspiration comes from chefs like him. They could only be considered cooks in his time annd role. He was someone who respected tradition while pushing food forward. I admire those who use their platform to celebrate culture, community, and the power of a great meal. I’m inspired most by the cooks who create with heart and make people feel at home
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the prize to continue growing my culinary journey — investing in better equipment, creating more opportunity to get a food truck to do BBQ Popups and another level. Make it a destination experience while sharing my passion for food with a larger audience. I want to use food as a way to connect people and showcase the creativity and talent around me.
