Connect What is your signature dish?

I don't have one specific signature dish because I enjoy being creative in the kitchen and exploring a variety of flavors and techniques. What truly sets my cooking apart is my ability to create unique sauces and pair ingredients in unexpected ways, adding my own personal touch to classic dishes. I love taking familiar recipes and putting a spin on them to make them uniquely mine. However, I grilling and the versatility of it.

Who is your culinary inspiration?

My culinary inspiration has always been my high school culinary arts teacher, Ms. Linda Durand. She inspired me in countless ways and played a major role in guiding me toward culinary school. Throughout my journey, she consistently supported and encouraged me every step of the way, and for that I will always be grateful. Today, I have the honor of serving as the culinary arts instructor at the very same school where I first discovered my passion for culinary arts.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I were fortunate enough to win the $25,000 from Favorite Chef, I would use the opportunity to open a small cooking program for youth as an after-school and summer enrichment initiative. My goal would be to teach students basic culinary foundations, cooking techniques, kitchen safety, and life skills that can inspire confidence and creativity in the kitchen. In addition, I would love to offer cooking classes for adults and couples who may not feel comfortable preparing meals at home.
