One of my signature dishes would be ahi tuna covered in seasame seeds, seaweed and seared in sesame and soy oil, depending on your spice level, a little wasabi and placed on top of a coconut jasmine rice. Topped with a microgreen. Sometimes I use ginger and wasabi next to it, but again, depends on your tastes. I also love adding vegetables to the side, green peas, carrots, edamame.
Who is your culinary inspiration?I have always been inspired by Anthony Bourdan, Gordon Ramsey, and Marco Pierre White. That is just to name a few, I could go on. Anthony inspired a million chefs and cooks to learn and grow and LOVE what they do. Chef Ramsey shows tough love but how to fix things and do better. And Chef White has some very amazing creations in the kitchen.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use it to help pay off my culinary school loan and any left I would save up in an account to open my future restaurant. Make the dreams come true.
