Who is your culinary inspiration?Can I have more than one? Carla Hall, of course, who was warm and genuine in person. Julia Child, Bobby Flay, Christopher Kostow from my previous home in Napa CA. Marcus Samuelsson, what a world culinary view! Nicole Theriot from Galatoire’s Nola, breaking ceilings for all.
What would you do with the $25,000?Take my retired disabled police officer husband and my 85 year old mom to Europe. Maybe not at the same time LOL! Mom, back to Italy for her first time since she lived in Naples and graduated from High School there. Go Forest Sherman High School! Then she and I would go to Portugal, where her family is from, for her first time. My husband I’d take to Scotland, Ireland and Germany. He hasn’t been to Germany in 30 years and I think he’d love to see it with me.
