My signature dishes are soulful Mexican-inspired comfort foods paired with handcrafted drinks that tell a story. From flavorful Slow cooked Birria to fresh mouth watering Ceviches. Everything I create is made from scratch with intention, creativity, and heart. I love blending comforting flavors with elevated presentation to create food and drinks people remember long after the last bite.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My biggest inspiration comes from family, culture, and the joy food brings to people. I’m inspired by my mother and both of my Grandmother's. They’re strong home cooks that created amazing meals usually out of nothing. My inspiration also comes from working with my hands and turning simple ingredients into something comforting, beautiful, and memorable.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would invest the $25,000 into growing La Cocina De Jannett and expanding my handcrafted food and beverage business. Owning a food truck has been a dream of mine. This opportunity would help turn my passion into something that can reach and inspire even more people.
