Who is your culinary inspiration?My mom and my grandma. Julia Child. Aaron Franklin. Anthony Bourdain. My friends, family and community. Mitsuo Endo. Pawan Pinisetti. The local culture of wherever I am. Then those that I get the honor of cooking for and with taking into account what they want to eat and dietary wishes.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would hand build a 26+ person backyard table setup, buy a trailer and portable cooking stations. I would then create a traveling "breaking bread" concept to bring people together through delicious food.
