Receive Text UpdatesIt’s a toss up between chipotle lime tarts and hedgehogs. Yea, hedgehog sounds weird but peaks interest and makes a great story!! My sig dish is really more a process than an item though - involving my friends and family to create it.
Who is your culinary inspiration?It’s gotta be Alton Brown! The stories that he came up with and some of his original shows-how he presented-not only the history, but the “science and engineering” behind it. Bourdain and Rosenthal follow on close seconds
What would you do with the $25,000?My wife and I just rolled our savings into a lake house, I would begin by opening the area up with more seating and bar space and lighting, put in a gas stove as it makes cooking more exact and fun. I’d like to add an extension so we could be both inside and outside at the same time eating. I make bread/pizza, and I would build my pizza oven right outside the back door. I really enjoy cooking on cast-iron and family, heirloom, porcelain and pottery so dishes aren’t a factor in my upg
