The creamy sauce, perfectly seasoned shrimp, and velvety grits come together in every bite. It’s one of those meals that always brings people back for seconds.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My culinary inspiration is my family. From my mother, aunts, and grandmother preparing Sunday dinner after church, to my father and uncles working the grill, food has always been at the center of my best memories. I grew up watching them cook with love and intention, and the smells coming from the kitchen still take me back to my childhood. That foundation is what inspires everything I create today.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I won $25,000 as Favorite Chef, a portion would go directly to my family. Catering they deal with a lot so it's only right they benefit from the winnings. I would then invest it directly into growing and improving my catering business. I would upgrade my equipment. A portion would go toward branding and marketing—like a professional website, updated logo, and high-quality food photography. These investments would help me take my catering business to the next level.
