Who is your culinary inspiration?My cooking is inspired by two very different but deeply connected influences: my Eastern European grandmother and improvisational music, especially the Grateful Dead. For me cooking is nostalgic and experimental. Honoring traditions I grew up with while constantly exploring new ideas and flavors that surprise people and create memorable experiences.
What would you do with the $25,000?I’d fill a hat with locations on the planet with culinary styles I haven’t explored fully. I’d randomly pick a location and take my family on the culinary journey of a lifetime.
