Receive Text UpdatesI’m from New Orleans so our food is famous world wide. I don’t have one dish that’s a signature but between the Gumbo, Jambalaya, stews it’s a toss up. I absolutely love to cook.
Who is your culinary inspiration?I learned to cook in the family kitchen. My grandmother and my mom and Dad were very good cooks. When I got into the industry as a dishwasher 1000 years ago Chef Randy Barlow a protégé of Chef Paul Prudhomme’ saw something in me and I went from there. I have cooked next to many great NOLA Chefs and have actually won a few contest. I love food and I love to cook!!
What would you do with the $25,000?My husband was let go from a 30 year career 2.5 years ago. We went through our savings rather quickly. I would use the money to help continue to improve our financial situation.
