Receive Text UpdatesMy signature dish is grilled okra, herbed tomatoes with saffron rice… it’s good on its own but with blackened jerked shrimp it’s like a warm hug. This meal is so comforting and familial . While simple it draws inspiration from many cultures which makes it truly exceptional.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My Grandmother is my culinary inspiration, she made every dish feel special and with love. With every meal I could feel the love and that’s exactly what I try to emulate each time I cook. I want it to feel special as if I made it just the way you like it… but you didn’t know it!
What would you do with the $25,000?Finally invest in myself and create monthly dinner parties showcasing my love for cooking, entertaining, design and connection to community. Expanding beyond my friends and family. Food is like a passport to other cultures. Additionally, I would take a culinary trip and eat my way through a few of my favorite countries.
