I’m very proud of my “Go Green Pizza.” It starts with homemade pizza dough with basil pesto for the sauce . On top of that, green veggies like bell pepper, broccoli, and fresh spinach. Of course there’s also a bit of onion and mozzarella to top it off.
Who is your culinary inspiration?There are many chefs that have been inspirational to me. My favorites are Emeril Lagasse, Carla Hall, the late Anne Burrell, and my Mother. My mother loved to cook—she was very creative in the kitchen.
What would you do with the $25,000?I want to have the most fantastic block party in my small town neighborhood. The party would involve numerous local food/drink establishments. There would also be a special food component for the numerous stray dogs and a donation to our local pound puppies. And of course some $ would go towards my home kitchen.
