Receive Text UpdatesA dessert dish that mashes up several recipes. I home make horchata and goat cheese flavored ice cream, swirl in spiced pecans, scoop the ice cream into homemade choux profiteroles, and drizzle them with melted Mexican chocolate ganache. Utter heaven.
Who is your culinary inspiration?Andrew Rea first captured a love of cooking for me, and Tieghan Gerard’s simple recipes lit the creative fire that has powered all my cooking since then. Most of all, though, it’s a two way tie: my mother’s wonderful cooking wowed me, and my fiancee and I first bonded over cooking during the pandemic. All four inspire me.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would put part of it towards enhancing the menu at my wedding, which will be in October. For the other part, I would purchase new kitchen equipment (nice knives, anyone?) and host a series of dinner parties, where I can cook to my heart’s content!
