I have taught cooking to teenagers for over 20 years. I am definitely their favorite chef. I would like to take a group of kids to Mexico.

Receive Text UpdatesSo many dishes, but I would say my traditional perogies. The filling is made with freshly cured bacon, sauteed onions, roasted garlic and aged cheddar. If you want to sit down and eat a bowl of the filling on its own, then it's good enough. The dough is made with riced potatoes and flour, tenderly combined so it lovingly cushions the filling without being chewy or tough. Yup, high school cafeteria food has never been better! :)
Who is your culinary inspiration?Julia Child, but not for her French food (although that is amazing). Her joy in bringing culinary skills to all people, inspires me everyday. Teaching seasoning and basic kitchen skills, that kids can use for the rest of their lives, gives me purpose.
What would you do with the $25,000?I have always wanted to take a group of students to a week long culinary school in Mexico. Then we can learn together :)
