Receive Text UpdatesThough I love baking yeast breads and pizzas, making homemade pastas, and creating a good pie, my best creation is a great carrot cake with cream cheese frosting.
Who is your culinary inspiration?I was first inspired by my grandmother. She was a very short, round woman that new her kitchen well. She taught me how to make noodles. (And, forced me to get them thinner and thinner before cutting them and drying them.) I am inspired by the Food Network, social media, recipes from magazines, and suggestions from friends and family.
What would you do with the $25,000?LOL, I honestly doubt that I have a chance of winning this competition. A windfall of this nature would allow me to take my wife to Hawaii....a dream vacation she has always desired, but has eluded us for 54 years of marriage. And, what an opportunity it would be to taste whole new culinary dishes from the island culture.
