I have a few! “Griot”, ( fried pork chunks) with “Piklis” ( spicy pickled slaw) and fried plantains.. And also “legume” ( stew vegetable with beef , and beef bones, and sea food -optional- ) with white Jasmine rice and black beans. Also make a nice calabaza pumpkin soup “ soup joumou” the freedom soup!
Who is your culinary inspiration?You of course Carla!! But I love all the chefs! However my mom was a great home chef. She made the best comfort foods, and some gourmet. She makes a mean oven roasted turkey ! Every one comes by for her turkey. She taught herself to bake cakes for special occasions and used it as a side hustle. She was very inspiratiinal. RIP mom. 🙏🏾.
What would you do with the $25,000?A lot. I have what I call a lotto list.People who showed me kindness, helped me through hard times when I win the lottery, I will share with them. In the meantime, when I win this, I would show them my appreciation and give them some of it. I suffered a financial hardship , so it would also help me get back on track!!! Big time!
