Receive Text UpdatesI am known for my 13.5q lasagna (Lizagna!) but, my true passion is Asian inspired dishes. I love making rice noodles that are crunchy, umami, and full of adventure. Every bite makes you think, and creates a smile.
Who is your culinary inspiration?Yotam Ottolenghi; they’re deeply rooted in a wide range of heritage culinary, cultivating a very tangible pathway from land to plate. His use of spices and regional produce makes me want to adventure into a deeper world of flavor explosion.
What would you do with the $25,000?I’m currently building my dream pop up supper club, inspired by my Midwestern roots, mixed with PNW farm-fresh, seasonally inspired dishes. I believe in land stewardship, and would also use the winnings to cultivate conversations around sustainable agriculture. As a farmer and culinary curious human, I want to invest in the land and my community, so we may keep seeing harvest in healthy, sustainable land for years to come.
