I have many but I think my signature dish revolves around comfort bowls with varied ingredients. For here, I will say short ribs in a full bodied sauce over roasted garlic mashed potatoes and vegetables
Who is your culinary inspiration?So many known chefs, however my inspiration for dishes comes from the people I cook for, so I flex my creations toward healthier fare, inviting presentations, sensory issues, themed dinners, etc. Being a scientist, I use those methods in my cooking. I am known by friends as the Scientific Cook.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use some of it to launch my writing career with a unique cookbook. I would be happy to share my ideas when I get further along in the competition. I would also use some of it to help plan for my son’s future (he has special needs and I have been wanting to do this for a while now).
