Receive Text UpdatesI honestly love cooking everything—from baking fresh pastries to smoking meats low and slow. What excites me most is learning. I enjoy exploring different cuisines, discovering new techniques, and understanding the traditions behind the food. If I had to choose a favorite, it would be any dish that allows me to cook alongside family, friends, or aspiring chefs. The experience of sharing knowledge, creating something together, and seeing people enjoy the finished product.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My greatest inspiration is my grandmother. Some of my favorite childhood memories are sitting beside her, watching cooking shows, especially on the Food Network. She would keep a notebook nearby, carefully writing down recipes, then head to the kitchen and make them her own with a few special touches. Watching her creativity and passion showed me that food is more than a meal—it is a way to bring people together.
What would you do with the $25,000?Winning the $25,000 would help me bring a longtime dream to life: launching a catering truck to serve local events, neighborhood gatherings, and community celebrations. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of leading culinary teams in some of the hospitality industry's most respected organizations, including Marriott International and Gaylord Opryland. Along the way, I've earned recognition including the Gaylord Opryland Values Award, MVP Award, and Lightning Strike Award.
