Receive Text UpdatesPies, I believe I make a scrumptious quiche. I enjoy using leftovers, or different ingredients which always give a unique flavor and amusing experience when I get to share it with the people around me. On the sweet side a simple homemade apple pie is what I turn to when I crave a sweet treat and have some down time to bake.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My grandma, every single day after school, the bus dropped me at my grandmas house. The smell of a sweet dessert was vibrant from the entrance of the house. She would always have a dessert coming out of the oven for my sister and me to eat after dinner. Some of her iconic desserts are lemon pie, upside down pineapple cake, pineapple pie, apple cake with crumble and lemon curd,corn pudding… the list goes on. She is the reason I enjoy caring for people through food.
What would you do with the $25,000?I plan to use it for three things: I plan to buy equipment so that my baking for events and orders is more efficient. This includes a new stand mixer, a small fridge/freezer solely for my business products/ingredients. I plan to add it to my savings account that I have for my future investment in a physical building to open a dessert shop I plan to use part of it to give to a non profit that combats food insecurity.
