Who is your culinary inspiration?Emeril Lagasse inspires me because of his passion, creativity, and ability to make food exciting while staying connected to his roots. He showed me that great chefs don’t just cook but, they tell stories and create experiences through food.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the $25,000 to grow my culinary brand, share Bahamian and Caribbean cuisine with a wider audience, and invest in my education as I pursue a career as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Food has always been a way for me to serve others, build community, and bring comfort to people, and this opportunity would help me continue doing that while working toward my long-term goal of improving lives through healthcare.
