I take comfort food and turn it into an experience—packed with bold flavors, culture, and soul, served alongside fresh sliced pineapples for that perfect sweet-meets-savory balance. Whether it’s teriyaki chicken or Korean bbq braised short rib, every dish is made to feel like home while looking like a celebration. You don’t just eat my food… you feel it.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My biggest culinary inspiration is my grandma, mama and the women who raised me. Food in our family was never just food—it was love, community, and a way to bring people together. I grew up watching meals create memories, and that inspired “Get It From My Mama.” I also admire chefs who create experiences, because I believe food should tell a story and leave people feeling something.
What would you do with the $25,000?I’d invest into growing Get It From My Mama from a passion into a lasting brand. I’d purchase equipment, expand my kitchen setup, create pop-up experiences, and continue building unforgettable food moments for my community. I want to create opportunities, bring people together through food, and prove that a dream built with love, faith, and hard work can feed more than stomachs—it can feed generations.
