Receive Text UpdatesMy cooking style is inspired by flavors from cuisines around the world. I love creating vibrant, nourishing meals that are deeply flavorful, comforting, and made from whole foods whenever possible. Whether I’m slowly building layers of flavor or creating something quick in one pan, my goal is always the same — to make food that feels exciting, satisfying, colorful, and made with heart. Cooking for me is creativity, culture, connection, and love brought together through flavor.
Who is your culinary inspiration? My culinary inspiration comes from chefs and storytellers who celebrate both flavor and culture. Giada De Laurentiis, Bobby Flay, Ina Garten, and Alton Brown inspired my love for cooking, while Anthony Bourdain and Phil Rosenthal deepened my appreciation for the people and traditions behind food. Their work taught me that food is more than nourishment. It’s history, connection, creativity, and a universal language that brings people together across cultures.
What would you do with the $25,000?After losing my mother last year to cancer, I began looking at food through a completely different lens — not just as nourishment, but as something deeply connected to healing, strength, and quality of life. Winning $25,000 would help me create nutritional education programs that teach people how to prepare flavorful, nutrient-dense meals at home using real whole foods while building healthier habits for themselves and their families.
