Desiree Yentis

A fish salad that is been in my family for tree generations already. It's a Romanian dish, since that's my heritage. Where you will plate many layers of smoked fish ,boiled sliced potatoes and carrots, garlic sauce,salt and cayenne pepper. You topped it and cover everything with a thin layer of mayonnaise. I personally decorate it with slices of lemon and cilantro and dust it with some white pepper. Pair it with a glass of Chardonnay or Sauvignion Blanc and ... Enjoy !

I like to watch and learn every day new recipes. My curiosity is so big and my desire of tasting new food is so great (you bet I am what you call a gourmand) that I will search everywhere from Master Chefs like Martha Stewart, Gordon Ramsay, Jacques Pepin,to bloggers like Chef Jean Pierre, Dimitra'sDishes and Natasha's kitchen.But,I am not looking only for new recipes.I want to see how those culinary gurus put their signature twist and turn a simple recipe in a culinary masterpiece. Then so do I

I will use part to attend Culinary Lab School and part to open my own French Bistro Cafe. I want new recipes, gourme ones, to be available for everyone, not just for few lucky people. Food is joy and is the best way to bond and build bridges between everyone's heritage and mind. My Mom used to say that love goes first through your stomach, then lays in your heart. Learning how to be the best, then offering the best food to everyone, is my dream and your prize will make it happen.
