My grandmothers are my greatest inspiration. My grandmother on my mother’s side is from the Dominican Republic, and my grandmother on my father’s side is African American from North Carolina. Despite the hardships they faced, they always poured love into every meal they made. Watching them cook taught me that food is more than nourishment; it’s comfort, culture, healing, and love. I’ve modeled my passion, creativity, and heart after them.
